Saturday 31st October
10am - 1pm
This 3 hour workshop will guide you through the process of using solid objects to make an impression mould in sand. From there you will have the option to hand stamp a personalised intention into the sterling silver that you will then melt and pour into the cavity of the mould to “sand cast” it. Once your object is cast in silver you will be taught the steps to then turn it into a wearable piece of jewellery.
This workshop is limited to 4 students to ensure that you have the close attention of Amelie throughout the entire process without feeling rushed.
Tea/coffee/chai is provided.
What to expect:
Regardless of your skill level you can expect to walk away from your class with a finished piece of sterling silver jewellery.*
*If you choose a design that is more complex and therefore more time consuming you may need to book further classes in order to finish it or you can arrange with Amelie to finish it for you if you’re unable to attend further classes.
